Why Hallo There!

Thinking About Moss, and all it's mossy goodness.

Becbec gave a very good introduction, So I want to give a big hip hip horray for her! And I guess... The only logical thing to do is to BEGIN WITH THE POSTING.

Firstly, I would like to say:
HEY LOOK! I GOT A SKULL!

Isn't he lovely? His name is Roy.
His role in this blog will become very important, especially when you see my super-secret-awesome plan of awesomeness (unfortunately, I have to wait for an ebay delivery before I can carry out this plan, "have patience food friends.") And - speaking of posts, did you like my first one? POST. HA. GEDDIT?!

Nobody...? Okay... moving swiftly on...

The second thing I would like to discuss is an article
I found yesterday or maybe the day before, or before that... It talks about scar-free surgery that removes organs through the patients mouth. I think this sounds horrible D: I'd rather just have a scar thanks.

"The main after-effects include a sore throat and an unpleasant taste in the mouth from having a diseased organ pulled through it"

Oh no... Not for me. You would be tasting your own organs! Though, the surgery does have its benefits. But I still don't quite fancy it. and..

ARGHHH!!! I have an eyelash in my eye! Look what blogging has done to me! I shall finish here before I get injured further.

Farewell, and look out for the next instalment of ROY!

OVER and OUT.

Introduction to Cranial Shrub

Thinking about: the possibility of Cranial Shrubs as some sort of parasite.

You, my friend, are witness to a great unfolding. Happening here, in this very post is the fruition of a dream that began-

sometime earlier today.

Well… I’d been thinking about starting a blog for a while, but I mentioned it to Kaya today, one thing led to another, and… here we have Cranial Shrub. There’s a story behind the name, but I’m saving that for a rainy day when I can’t think of anything else to say. I’m not entirely sure what a cranial shrub is, but Kaya has a thing about skulls, so I guess it’s appropriate. She has a skull for a face, you know.

About me and Kaya... We’re best friends. Sometimes we both live in Liverpool. (I half-moved-away to Aberdeen for uni.) Kaya’s good at art and Photoshop type things. She did that 'self portrait' and the background. I mostly just sit around and read a lot. Occasionally I dabble in drawing stickfigures/lump people in Paint. The middle ground is that we’re both a little eccentric. You can find short biographies we wrote on eachother on the "about the bloggers" page.
This is me and my friend Dave, in lump people style, sneaking into a dinner party inside a giant cake. I’m sure there was a perfectly rational explanation for why we’d be doing this at the time of drawing.

Cranial Scrub is our first venture into blogging, so bear with us while we work on getting it right. We don’t have any specific purpose in mind for the blog, so it’s probably going to be a bit of a mixed bag. The idea at the moment is that each of us will post once a week. We’ll see how that pans out.

My blog posts are probably going to be a little bit about what, if anything, is going on in my life, and then the main text’ll be on whatever I feel like talking about. I’m thinking it’ll probably be something to do with books or films a lot of the time, though. As I said, this is very much in the formative stages, so anything could happen.

Best wishes,
-Bec
